Sebastián Palacios

Founder and director of Islandia Estudio. He works with artists from the creative stage through to finishing their albums, looking at the process as a whole. His approach combines technical judgment, sensitive listening and close attention to the identity of each project.

He worked on three Gardel Award-winning projects, and on the recording and editing of Fueyerías by Pablo Jaurena, nominated for Best Tango Album at the 2026 Latin Grammys.

He teaches in the Sound Engineering program at La Metro, and is a board member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Argentina and of CASyM, the Córdoba Audio, Sound and Music Cluster.

Manuel Collado

Technical director · Engineer

REC – MIX – MST

Technical director of Islandia Estudio, he combines his work as a producer and engineer with looking after and improving the technical side of the studio. He brings a detailed eye to sound, workflow and decision-making during recording, with a particular focus on drums and electric guitars.

His approach balances technical precision, aesthetic judgment and attentive listening to what each project needs.

Ismael Salguero

Music producer and mixing and mastering engineer, with a degree in Sound Engineering. He works with independent bands and artists, supporting the vision of each project. He has an affinity for indie rock and pop, and is open to any genre when the message is genuine. His approach combines aesthetic judgment, artistic sensitivity and attentive listening to bring out the identity of each work.

Agustín Copello

Music producer and recording, mixing and mastering engineer. He works with bands and artists on productions with a strong artistic character, from songwriting and arrangements to final delivery. His approach brings together Ableton Live as his main production platform and his experience as a musician, putting creativity, sound and the identity of each project first. He works mainly in the Córdoba independent rock scene, with projects such as Los Vecinos de Alejo, OWA and Santa Kim.
